Chicago Fight House was founded by Lou Storiale in 2011, and built on a simple promise: real boxing, taught honestly, with integrity in every lesson.
Lou Storiale began Chicago Fight House in 2011 while preparing for a fight against a veteran amateur fighter. Since then, Chicago Fight House has concentrated on building students in Chicago, Illinois, and has established a steady home for boxing in the city.
Although the gym was new to training fighters in Chicago, Chicago Fight House was never new to training and coaching. Several fighters have competed in amateur boxing events, and students have stepped into the ring against equal opponents from local gyms.
We’re committed to being a steady, lasting presence in Chicago boxing. It takes years to create a champion, and we’re in it for the long haul. We invite all Chicago amateurs, white-collar boxers and women to consider training, competing and excelling in boxing.
“Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand.”
Chicago Fight House believes experience is the best teacher. We take extraordinary measures to explain our techniques, demonstrate what we explain, and then invite you to practice, that is true learning.
While many teachers try to lengthen the learning process so students spend more money, we strive to give as much knowledge in a single lesson as a person can hold, remember and use. That alone sets us apart from nearly every other school teaching boxing.
Doing what is RIGHT when no one is looking.
Doing what we said we would do, and then DOING IT.
We expect integrity from our students and demand it of ourselves. That means:
We take our jobs seriously but have fun in the process. Every student should remember that Chicago Fight House delivered everything we promised, with professionalism, competence and integrity. And we mean it.
